Biography


My name is Nick Kambouris, and I have been a resident of Coober Pedy since 1970.

I have been Opal mining since 1968 in Andamooka and in Coober Pedy since 1970. Although I am still involved in mining, I also commenced buying and selling Opal in the mid 80's. This has allowed me first hand access to Opal direct from the mines of Andamooka, Lambina and Mintabie in the South Australian Opal fields, as well as Lightning Ridge in New South Wales.

I deal in rough and cut Opal, all size parcels, specimens, shells, pipes and collectors items. I feel confident that I can supply you with whatever Opal you require.
